A diverse selection of aerial photographs of the Bay Bridge is represented in the library of Aerial Archives. This collection of aerial photography includes oblique aerials of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge, aerial photographs of the recent construction of the Bay Bridge and aerial photography of the bridge created during a diverse set of weather and lighting conditions and during special events for which the bridge was closed. The archive also contains a comprehensive collection of vertical Bay Bridge aerial photography, including vertical aerial photographs of the Bay Bridge dating back to 1946, as well as oblique aerial photographs dating to before the construction of the bridge.
